Branham Class Update 3/23 and Online Learning Options

Hi everyone! I hope you and your families are well and staying safe during this unprecedented time. Austin ISD is not having classes from March 23 to April 3rd. During this time, there is no required school work.
If you would like something to do, AISD has provided enrichment activities on the Learning From Home website (Links to an external site.). There are enrichment activities for 8th grade US History and a suggested schedule of daily activities. When classes resume on April 6th (either back at school or from home) we will be starting back up by learning about reform movements.
You should also know that there will be no STAAR test this year and I have EXCUSED all missing assignments from the grade book.

I know that this is a confusing time and some of you are worried about grades and other things. Do not worry and stress about grades. There will be plenty of flexibility and support as we all adjust to these new challenges. I don't have all of the answers right now, but I will update everyone as more information becomes available.
