Dear Awesome Parents,
The kids are excited to share their pets for the "Dahill Pet of the Day."  This is a voluntary activity.  I have a BLEND module called "Pets".  Many of the kids have expressed an interest but lack the knowledge to get the picture onto the slideshow.  Feel free to talk to your child and inquire if this interests them. Thanks for your help.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Dahill
Dear Awesome Parents,
I wanted to send you all a note of my gratitude for your kids.  You are raising bright and kind children.  They are a gift to me.  It is truly a pleasure to come to work every day at GMS.  I know how busy home life can be,and I hope you all have a restful holiday with your family.  If you want something to talk about over a cup of hot cocoa, ask your child to tell you what they think of the character Rose Howard (or her dad, Wesley Howard).
Happy Holidays!
Kathleen Dahill

ELA 6 students are finishing  personal narratives this week.  Final copies are due this Friday on Blend.  Parents are welcome to help with editing.
I am overwhelmed by the incredible projects! This was a tough assignment, and I can see that students worked on them for a long time. I enjoyed hearing them share their projects. We got a lot of great book recommendations.

If you still need to turn yours in, do it as soon as possible. If any parent wants to volunteer to laminate, please contact me as soon as possible. I want to get these hung up! :)
I am so appreciative of those who have bought supplies off of my Amazon Wish List. As the year progresses, I'm sure I'll find more to add. Thank you to all who took the time and money to purchase these items that directly impact your student.
