Good Afternoon Gorzycki Tigers!

Here are your announcements for today:

The 7th grade A girls basketball team pulled out a tough win versus Bailey last night. The final score was 31-29. The team dig deep in the second half and fought hard on defense. Makayla Z finished the game with 19 rebounds and 7 points. Micah W had 5 rebounds and 8 points. Maya A contributed 5 rebounds and 4 points, Emme S had 6 points, while Marley C rounded out scoring with 2 points and added 5 steals. Come watch them play at home next Thursday vs Ann Richards. B team plays at 6:00 and A team at 7:00.

Magic: The Gathering is happening today after school in room 514. Don't forget to have your parents pick you up at the bus drop-off no later than 5:00pm. All are welcome to play!

It's going to be a nice cold weekend. The perfect weather to get creative and work on the Reflections Contest. The deadline to enter is next Wednesday. Today's lucky winner from the Early Bird entries is Aden. H. See Mrs. Dahill for your gift card Aden!

The 7th grade girls B team crushed the Bailey Bears last night, beating them 40 to 4. A great team defense led the way to an easy victory. Great job ladies!

The 8th grade girls B basketball team defeated Bailey Middle School last night 42-4. Adriana L. led the team in scoring with 8 points while Jillian L., Megan O., and Arianna G. contributed 6 each. O'Brien also had a big night leading in both rebounds and steals. Congratulations, Tigers!

Today is the last day to enter for a chance to win a free poster from the book fair. Visit the fair and donate a book for your chance to win a free poster. Winners will be announced MONDAY, NOVEMBER 12th during EXCEL

Attention Tigers have you seen the lost and found by the gym?  How can you miss it, It’s overflowing! Please look through the lost and found because you just might find that one thing you lost.  All unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity on Friday, Nov. 16th so go take a look.

Hey tigers Veterans Day door decoration contest is from the 8th to the 15th of November. Come up with a creative way to appreciate your veterans. Judging will be one 15-16th. On Friday the 16th the winner will be announced and get a sweet surprise. In addition to the door decorating contest if you have a loved one in the service and want to submit a picture for a “thank you for your service” poster. The picture needs to be printed and brought to room 327 during excel by November 9th. Thank you for those who serve in the military and happy decorating.

The 8th grade A Lady Tiger basketball team defeated the Bailey Bears last night by a score of 47-28. The Tigers were led by Izzy D with 19 points. Avery D scored 9 points while Falyn C chipped in with 5. Brooke P ripped down 10 rebounds and played great defense. The girls are back in action Thursday at Ann Richards. Great job Tigers!

Are you participating in NaNoWriMo? Do you have creative writing you'd like to share with an audience? Do you want to meet other writers? Come to Writing Club Friday from 3:45-4:45. Make sure you have a ride home PROMPTLY at 4:45. Please ask to be picked up in the back parking lot.

Please join us for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. All students are welcome and you don't have to be on a sports team to participate. Meetings are every Thursday after school in the commons and end before 4:15. Our 1st meeting will be November 8. Hope to see you there!
