Good Afternoon Gorzycki Tigers

Here are your announcements for today

  • The GMS Fine Arts Department will be performing for GMS students on Thursday in the gym. Students should report to their classroom before coming to the gym with their teacher. Do not bring backpacks or cell phones to the performances. 8th graders will go during 2nd period, 7th graders will go during 3rd period, & 6th graders will go during 6th period.

 

GMS Choir students are to wear their holiday colors & report directly to the choir room at the beginning of 1st period on Thursday to check roll, warm up, & get ready for the performances.

 

  • Are you interested in joining the GMS Tiger Cap 10k team this year? Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grader is invited to register and participate in all of our training sessions and the big race on April 7th. To register, please visit Coach MacKenzie's gmstigers website and follow the instructions.

 

  • Attention all 7th and 8th grade girls. Girls soccer try outs will be held Monday, January 7th, and Tuesday, January 8th after school until 5:30. These are the first two days back after the winter break and you must have an athletic physical on file in order to try out. If you have any questions please see Coach Sindt, Coach Mahoney, or Coach Nyc.

 

  • The cheerleaders are sponsoring a Theme week this week to get ready for Winter Break! Tomorrow, be sure to wear pajamas for “Tigers get cozy for Winter Break”- wear pajamas!

 

  • Come join us for FCA on Thursdays in the commons. Meetings start at 3:45 and are done by 4:10. All are welcome 6th-8th grade and you do not need to be involved with any sport. See you on Thursdays!
