1.) What does my student need for class? -- You only need a composition book and a folder (any color) to keep loose papers in.
2.) Who can I contact about a meeting with my child's teachers? -- I'm the parent contact for the team. andrew.doggett@austinisd.org.
3.) What's the grading policy? 50% - Major Grades (Tests, Projects, Lab reports). 40% - Quiz Grades (Quizzes) 10% - Daily work (smaller assignments)
4.) When do you tutor? -- During the appropriate Excel times during the week, as well as by appointment after school.

Rough Calendar of Weekly Schedule (Week 3/5 - 3/9)
 
3/5 - Begin Ocean project with short page of notes and then computer work to research topics through my website.
 
3/6 - Quiz in class (topics - Oceans currents, Convection, Topographic Maps)
 
3/7  - Day of class work and research on Ocean 10-part project. Short videos on reef creation and others on economy/interactions with ocean. TURN IN YOUR SUMMARY OF OUR PODCAST.
 
3/8 - Substitute in class for Mr. Doggett. Video on shallow seas and marine life, you may work to finish up your project (quiz grade) but I will require it due 
 
3/9 - TIGER DAY. Check your grades (there have been a lot of projects, grades entered by Spring Break time...)

End of Year Activities

Students will be registering for 4 periods of end-of-year activities on Thursday, May 11 starting at 3:40 PM. Activities will fill up quickly, so students are encouraged to register ASAP. Here is the schedule for the last day of school.
 
1st Period: 8:25-9:04 AM
