Good afternoon students and parents.  I hope you all are doing well and enjoying the extended time with each other during this trying time.  You all probably have many questions about what the rest of the school year will look like.  Well, your teachers and administrators are in the same boat.  With things changing literally by the hour, it is hard to answer that question right now.  Just know we are meeting to try and come up with a plan that will benefit all.  Once I find out anything more, I will definitely relay that information to you.
In the meantime, AISD has made a "Learning at Home" website with optional lessons and activities to enrich your brain.  You can use the links below to access this information.  Also, please remember that all of my notes for the entire year are still posted on my website.  You can also go back and review any topics that were a little confusing to you earlier in the year.  You should also be able to access all of the older assignments.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
I hope you all stay safe and I look forward to seeing each and every one of you in the not too distant future!

The Advanced Math Curriculum is designed to give students the opportunity to take high school credit classes while still in middle school. Students on the Algebra Pathway will be learning material that is 1 year ahead of their current grade level by the time they are in 7th grade. Students on the Geometry Pathway will be learning material that is 2 years ahead of their current grade level by the time they are in 7th grade.

In order to meet the expectations of the Advanced Math Curriculum, the student is expected to maintain a Six-Weeks Average of an 80 or higher. A student that does not meet this expectation will be placed on academic probation after the first occurrence. After the second occurrence, the student’s math teacher will recommend that the student be moved into a grade-level Pre-AP course.
