Tutoring:
If students want to make up an assignment they received either a 70 or below on, they must attend one tutoring session during EXCEL or after school. ELA Excel priority day is held on Tuesdays during 6th period.

Late Work:
Each day the assignment is late ten points will be taken off the initial grade. After the third day the grade will be entered in as a missing grade. After the assignment is missing for three days, the grade will drop to a 0.

Homework:
Students will always have independent reading to complete each week; each student should read at least 20 minutes each day. Students will choose two grade level appropriate books each six weeks to read; they must record their reading time using their Reading Log. Major assignments such as Book Projects will be worked on in class, but students may also choose to work on the assignment outside of class.
